Granada brings scan-based accuracy and full operational control to their 3PL operation with IMI's warehouse and delivery management solution.
The challenge
Keeping pace with modern e-commerce fulfilment
For decades, Granada managed their warehouse operations manually. It worked – but as e-commerce customers grew more demanding, the limitations of a pen and paper process became clear.
- Picking was done manually, one order at a time
- No scan-based verification to ensure the right item and quantity reached each customer
- Labels had to be handled through separate external systems
- Limited reporting made it difficult to give customers a clear picture of their orders, returns and throughput
“Before IMI’s WMS, we picked everything manually with pen and paper. It was a very manual and cumbersome process.”, Camilla Aspestrand, Logistics Manager, Granada
The solution
A web-based WMS that adapts to Granada's reality
Granada evaluated several WMS suppliers, both Norwegian and Swedish, before choosing IMI. The decision came down to two things: IMI had the most future-oriented product, and they were the most willing to adapt it to Granada’s needs.
As a 3PL operator with multiple product owners, Granada needed a system that could be configured individually for each customer.
IMI delivered exactly that.
The result
Seven years of reliable operations and better customer insight
A seamless Autostore integration that opens new possibilities
In the fall of 2025, Granada made a significant investment by implementing an Autostore solution for storage and picking – delivered by Element Logic and integrated with IMI’s WMS. The three-way collaboration between Granada, Element Logic and IMI ran smoothly, with both physical and remote meetings to work through the setup.
Granada’s multi-customer setup required some specific adaptations, but both IMI and Element Logic handled these without issue. The integration was up and running without major problems from the start.
“It was a very smooth process. Both parties solved the adaptations we needed and we got it up and running – we are very happy with how it went.”, Camilla Aspestrand, Logistics Manager, Granada
