Secure your spot!

At IMI we help distribution-intensive companies create a seamless and efficient flow from start to finish.

We view the order process as more than just the physical transportation of goods – it impacts a long chain of events, both logistically and informationally. To avoid costly deviations, the right system support as well as an understanding of the entire process are essential.

IMI provides specialised solutions that simplify managing, optimising and monitoring the entire supply chain flow.

Procurement

Our solutions help you with your purchase planning and execution. With our systems we can automate your forecasting, creating order proposals and sending purchase orders. They can also aid with different kinds of planning, such as multiple-site and scenario planning.

Balancing your stock availability and inventory is also an important part of Procurement in which our systems can be of service.

Inbound transportation

The common challenges with Inbound Transportation are the lack of visibility and control over incoming shipments. With delivery notifications our systems can ensure you will receive structured information about incoming shipments to speed up receiving goods.

Through our advanced Freight Cost Management, we help you with cost reconciliation, invoice control, allocation and posting.

Warehousing

With our solutions, we help you automate your goods reception and perform deviation reporting for damages, errors and shortages. With internal route optimization, advanced pick order build and capacity analysis we optimise your inventory processes which in turn decreases your costs.

To avoid inventory discrepancies, regular inventory counts are made which also help us handle and optimize your inventory for potential seasonal variations. Furthermore, we perform quality checks on inbound goods to avoid inaccurate inventory balances.

Store operations

Our solutions help you unload and sort inbound deliveries, as well as manage damaged or incorrect deliveries. They also help you plan your optimal product placement, make rotations to avoid obsolescence and use store systems to restock efficiently. Our systems facilitate your returns handling of defective or incorrect goods from suppliers which frees up time for your employees and contribute to a better experience for the customer.

Order management

With our solutions, we can play a significant part in automating your omni-channel order processes. Our solutions validate customers’ orders and perform inventory status checks before reserving and prioritising different orders. They then offer you efficient and error-free order picking and packaging using automation integration.

Furthermore, our solutions support cross-docking, value-added customer services and an accurate freight cost calculation to the end.

Outbound distribution

Common problems with Outbound Distribution are poor visibility of which parcels have left the warehouse as well as what items have been returned due to lack of pickup. Our solutions help you avoid these issues by picking the best carriers and services to handle your shipments and ensure correct handling of transport documents and tracking numbers during the delivery process.

With our solutions, we offer your customers the possibility to track parcels in real-time and receive notifications and reminders concerning pick-up. All these parts ensure an accurate cost and climate footprint distribution per shipment.

Return logistics

To save you time and resources, our systems offer automated claims handling. They support refurbishment and resale processes along with restocking and repairs of returns. Furthermore, our solutions track the costs of returns and make return value assessments, which are especially important for e-commerce. They also track returns by performing defect analysis, repair tracking and return process compliance.
