Freight depositions provides you with an overview of all costs over the current month. The system takes all bookings into consideration and keeps track of which bookings that are and are not invoiced.

With our system you can measure and monitor your carbon footprint based on the shipments/bookings that have been entered into our system. This ensures that you always have a complete picture of your emissions, regardless of whether the carrier has issued environmental reports.

Freight invoice management

The system for invoice management and freight cost control collects data from your business systems, freight bookings, and invoices. By analyzing transport cost trends and deviations, it identifies improvement opportunities in both external agreements and internal processes. The system flags deviations based on predefined rules, ensuring comprehensive freight invoice control. It provides key insights such as cost analysis, delivery quality, booking accuracy, and notifications for additional costs or discrepancies.

Price query

Through the Price Query (API or APP), you can query all your agreements within the system and the system will respond with relevant proposal for any given shipment. Either directly connect to the order system, booking system or manually. The solution can either give you all possibilities to choose from or give you the preferred carrier/service based on rules. All information is stored and can be linked to the order/shipment reference so when the actual cost is invoiced from the carrier, the system can compare the estimated cost vs actual cost.

Freight cost allocation

Allocating the freight cost to what it belongs to is often based on using X number of customer numbers at the freight company and the corresponding number of invoices. We allocate costs at the freight level so that the contract structure against the freight company is simplified and the number of invoices is reduced. This is a win-win solution for both the freight company and the transport buyer.

Thanks to our advanced rules, with the help of both cost centers and transport direction (in / out of storage), we can also build complete accounting strings with several dimensions. The information can be integrated to certification systems or ERP systems so that you can get automated posting of freight.

3PL/4PL dashboard & functionality

Freight depositions

Estimating monthly freight costs can be challenging due to unpredictable increases and delays in invoicing. With freight being a major variable cost, it’s crucial to accurately measure freight costs in relation to revenue, known as the freight quota. Depositions provides you with a full overview of all costs for the current month (or previous month, depending on when you close the month). All bookings are taken into consideration, with the system keeping track of which bookings are invoiced or not.

Carbon footprint reporting

Set goals and continuously monitor the trends to see if the measures have the desired effect. The solution is based on shipments or bookings entered into our system. This way, you always have a complete picture of the emission figures for the period, regardless of whether the carrier has issued environmental reports.
