The challenge
The main challenge for Apotek Hjärtat when turning to IMI was the need to quickly establish its own solution for both wholesale and retail distribution. This meant short implementation timelines, new supplier relationships and integrations, as well as the need to collaborate with a logistics partner for warehousing and transport operations.
The solution
By implementing IMI’s order management system as support for planning, order flows and inventory management, together with functionality for distribution centre replenishment and the handling of customer and return flows, a stable foundation was put in place. The solution was integrated with Visma Retail Suite and PostNord as the logistics service provider, enabling an efficient and consistent flow across the supply chain.
This has helped improve customer service and support Apotek Hjärtat’s growth, with increasing revenues and stronger margins.
