Industri-Matematik is founded by Martin Leimdörfer in
Stockholm, Sweden.
1984
System ESS (Enterprise Strategic Solution) is released.
1988
Acquire Joeldata (HQ in Linköping, Sweden) to develop implementation services and support for System ESS.
1989
A strategic partnership with Ahlsell is signed.
1991
Acquired by Warburg Pincus Ventures and delisted from the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
1997
Listed on Nasdaq as Industri-Matematik International.
1997
Acquire Ceratina Systems (HQ in Hässleholm, Sweden) and integrate Ceratina Open Warehouse with System ESS.
2002
Acquired by Symphony Technology Group.
2003
CDC Corporation acquires a majority interest of Industri-Matematik International.
2007
Becomes part of CDC Software and wholly owned by CDC Corporation.
2012
CDC Software is acquired by Vista Equity Partners and merged with Consona Corporation to
form Aptean.
2018
Aptean Vertical Business Application Group is acquired by ESW Capital.
2019
Renamed and rebranded as Industri-Matematik
International AB.
2019
Release of IMI AOM version 11.3 and IMI WMS version 8.1. Both products being successors of System ESS.
